Try Grande Dunes



The Resort Club at Grande Dunes is conveniently located just a mile from the Marriott GD. This golf course has been touted as one of the "Top 10 You Can Play" courses. This course is close, so you'll be able to play a round in the morning and then hit the beach in the afternoon. Plus, I've heard the beer cart girls at this course are worth the visit :)



This course really lets players see what a real Myrtle Beach course is all about. Seven holes play along the Intercoastal Waterway and with the Bermuda grass fairways and bent grass greens you will be going back home and putting the heat on your local club to step up their game. "Come on (insert hometown course) I just got back from playing Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach and I cannot go back to these sub standard facilities." Of course if they listen be prepared to pay. Some of the best things in life are free but not golf course renovations.
