Waking up to a brisk cool morning with a much needed cup of hot coffee. Maybe sitting on a porch of a log cabin, staring out into the untouched beauty of thick wilderness. Just down the road, nestled in the trees and valleys are 18 holes of breathe-taking joy. Crushing 300 yard bombs in the mile high air, cutting shots over tall pines, and chipping from piles of deep pine straw are just a few of the reasons that you like to play in the mountains. Banff, known as a sleepy ski town the the heart of the Canadien Rockies is perhaps one of the most beautiful places on earth. To be able to play golf in this mountain paradise is a plus. Usually playing golf entails watching your golf ball travel hundreds of yards through the air but when you hit a shot on this course you'll be looking at the breath taking mountains that surround you. Staying at the Banff Springs Hotel will give you a 5 star shelter in between rounds. This hotel rocks! Queen Elizabeth recently stayed here, so you know if it's good enough for the Queen it's good enough for you. It would literally take me 3 more web pages to describe how wonderful Banff is.
