Oxmoor Valley is Firmly Entrenched Within the TrailOxmoor Valley much like most of the Trail courses is a 54 hole facility that features two exciting 18 holes courses and then one rip roaring Par 3 course full of shots. These three courses were carved from the peaks and valleys of the Appalachians. Because of its natural topography it offers very scenic forests, creeks, and elevation changes. The Ridge Course is much like The Cyclone at Six Flags. You'll definitely feel the G-forces on this course. 150 foot elevation changes will make you glad that you aren't walking. As you play number 3 an exposed shale rock will remind you of the land's former life as a mining area. The Valley Course is a beautiful course sprayed with scenic lakes, rolling fairways, and stretches up to two miles downrange along the valley. The 18th hole is named "The Assassin" which is a 441 yard par 4 that rises to an exhilarating finish. The Short Course is the par 3's that will make you light headed with the severe elevation changes. Just about every hole plays downhill, so you better practice your distance elevation skills.
