Playing Ross Bridge is Like Flying First ClassRoss Bridge is considered by many to be the Crown Jewel of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. This gem is 18 holes of pure delight. The facilities are top notch and rival the landscape and challenge of the actual course. Many people come here just the experience the 259 room Renaissance Hotel and spa. This hotel not only contains an incredible indoor/outdoor pool and luxury spa, but also a clubhouse to rival any other on the Trail. Adding to it's charm and nastaligia is the daily sound of bagpipes being played by a kilted piper! The course itself is a masterpiece carved into the rolling terrain of Shannon Valley. It meanders through indigenous landscape and around the hotel. Ten of the holes are placed between two lakes connected by a ginormous 80 foot waterfall (right between the ninth and eighteenth greens. They've added a gritsmill to the waterfall to reflect the history of the old mining site. Just as Hysteria by Def Leppard was filled with all #1 singles, R. Bridge boasts of all 18 holes being able to hold its own. Not one hole stands out from the rest. With par 3's that have huge elevation changes, large inviting greens for agressive approach shots, long par 4's, and a hole that has a split fairway...what else could you ask for in a golf course.
