The Lodge at Koele is a Peaceful Golf Retreat in Paradise

The Lodge at Koele
is unique in that it is situated more inland on this island. However, with the entire island only being 18 miles long you are never far from water. The population of Lana'i is small (only a few thousand), so if you are looking for that vacation in paradise with having to deal with a lot of people then this is a sure bet.
The Lodge at Koele offers golf lovers the choice of two lovely golf tracks.
The Experience of Koele & The Challenge at Manele
The Experience of Koele, a Greg Norman design, is more of a mountain type course on an island. At 2,000 ft elevation it is a little cooler than you would think for Hawaii. Of course from that level the views of the neighboring islands are spectacular! Wooded slopes, lakes, and streams throughout the course add to the mountain like atmosphere. A great change of pace for golf while you're in Hawaii.
The Challenge at Manele, a Jack Nicklaus design, (Wow 2 hall of fame golfers designing these courses) is stunning to say the least. Built upon the natural lava remnants, this course gives stunning views of the Pacific on every hole. On three of the holes the Pacific is the water hazard. In the winter time you can double dip by playing golf and watching the whales play in the ocean.
Hawaii golf vacations are tough because how do you choose between awesome and incredible? Like I said earlier you can't really go wrong with either of these two. Both will give you a chance to enjoy life, play world class golf, and relax to the max!
